Sorry, this fundraiser has ended and is no longer accepting donations.

To commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings and the Battle for Normandy, The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada will deploy a 65-member contingent to Normandy, France from June 1st to 8th, 2024. This will be a privately funded trip with no public funding expected. As a result, the unit will be seeking funding support in order to allow its members to travel to Normandy in memory of the 61 Riflemen killed in action during D-Day.

The estimated cost per member is $3000 CDN. Your donation goes towards their trip expenses, including airfare, ground transportation, and accommodations:

$100 Donation—Donors will receive a certificate of appreciation upon the completion of the trip.
$500 Donation—Donors will receive a limited commemorative coin to mark the occasion of the 80th anniversary trip.

$1860 Donation—Donors will receive Founder status in the 1860 Club, in addition to the above.
$3000 Donation (Sponsor a Rifleman)—Donors will receive the Coin of Remembrance in memory of a fallen Rifleman, in addition to the above.
